Finally Home
Finally Home
Finally Home is an original painting created within three hours at the first ever fundraiser Painting With Purpose. This vision was founded by Maggie from MJ’s Equine Art Studios. The event was held March 30th, 2024 at the lovely home of Doug Morrow and Ayla Reed. This painting was inspired by the mission of Blues Skies For The Good Guys and Gals. Finally Home represents a solider that has come back home from war. In his helmet is red poppies as he holds onto the grief of fallen soldiers and friends. The horse represents his freedom and the freedom of others that he’s fought so hard for. The horse shares his grief by holding onto the red poppies inside his body. The birds flying to the sky represents the releasing of that grief. The relationship between the birds and poppies is necessary for life itself. No one is lost in the experience of death. It is merely a transition.
10 percent of every print goes back to the Blue Skies Foundation.
The limited edition prints will be capped at 300 copies. I might create other sizes for this print.
The textured/ painted print will be capped at 150 copies. 10 percent will also go to the foundation supporting veterans.
