One Soul

The image has been in my mind for awhile. My thoughts were, "surely, someone else has created this before." I want my art to original as possible. However, I was working a commission and felt a bit stuck on it. The image popped in my mind again, and I listened this time. The process was quick. I grabbed the one of my blank square canvases and just started sketching and painting completely from my mind. 

The name "One Soul" was suggested by my Grandma Thana. It felt very fitting.

As whimsy as this painting might be, I feel it’s grounding in the true nature of a horse girl. Loving animals is a part of your identity and lifestyle. I do hope this painting is comforting and reminds you who you are.
